LIFE’S A GAME // 29th July 2013

Life IS a game or at least more than 13 million people think so.

Swedish musicians became famous on the video channel thanks to their homage to the 80’s video games and pop culture. The animation is a clear reference to the consoles such as Atari, the original Nintendo NES, the classic Commodore 64 and most of arcade games like Tetris, Pac Man or Maria Bros. The Nordic duo also took their inspiration from the music played on old 8-bit computers and video game consoles from the 1980s to create the BitPop music played throughout the 3.5min long film.

This impressive work took more than 1,500 hours over eight months and many thousands of Lego bricks to realize!!

Originally called “Rymdreglage”, the duo was later renamed “Ninja Moped” after the high-kicking ninjas from the video.
